Wed. Aug 15th
Marlene continues to grow a little stronger each day. Her appetite has improved and she has not been troubled by nausea. Her vision has not gotten any better than it was and she is not able to read for long periods of time. She has been staying up most of the day and washed and dryed clothes today. Tomorrow M has a treatment at the local hospital. This treatment is only done once a month so it is easier to get it done locally. Thank you so much for your Prayers and all the loving kindness that has been shown to us. Rem. God is good.......and all the time......In His Love M & R

Who knew we would be thankful that Mom could do laundry! Hooray for the small victories!
I am sure the fresh green beans and watermelon must be given at least a little credit for Mom's improving strength. That and cheese sandwhiches!
I am glad the nausea has subsided and she has been able to rest a little more peacefully. I hope all goes well with the treatment today and she is able to travel there and back with no trouble. I love you both and am thinking of you!
