Journey---Charlottesvile, phase 2
Our return to Charlottesville this week began preperation for the next treatment phase. (More testing, repeat MRI etc). Everything went well, and since I have improved significantly in the past 3 weeks, I feel ready. We will return on Wed. morning for IV'/chemo etc. Assuming that all will go well, I will return home in the afternoon. I both look forward to beginning and have some apprehension over the effect of the chemo on my body, (these body changes are a little difficult) but am certain that I will be fine as I remember in whose hands I truly rest!! I am confident that this is the correct path to follow and so I will take one day & one treatment at a time. I remind myself that it is called a battle for a reason & I have learned it is not for whimps, thus I am glad I am not battling alone. Thank you for continuing to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Will post a note at least 2x per week. Remember that God is Good.......All the time......He continues to bless us richly, every day!! Love, Roger & Marlene
