Just a brief note tonight. Saw the doctor today, like some of you, he said "just 5 more weeks". I would say things are going pretty well. Little tiredness, nothing of great significance. I have always wanted to be able to take power naps, never could before, but now short naps energize me again at least for a short period. I think Roger will take over all the cooking here very soon, he doesn't like all the ways I can fix zucchini!! :)
Wanted to share with you the scripture reading for today, since my spirits were low after this weekend:
Psalms 94:18-19 " When I said, "my foot is slipping" your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul."
Peace has returned.
Have a great day, and may God Bless. Marlene & Roger

Well Mom, I am shocked that Dad is not loving the zucchini pancakes! And grilled zucchini, and zucchini bread. I hope you are able to rest comfortably and relax a little. I know it is a change for you not to be running around like crazy! We love you and are thinking of you!

Marlene, My reading today in 1 Corinthians 12 speaks of the body of Christ, one body, many parts and in verse 25 says: that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
We are here with you now and also eager to share in the future rejoicing. Love in Christ, Debbie
Hi you all,
I tried to call you before I left Charlottesville but I didn't find out until I got back to Gate City about your uncle. I am so sorry for your loss.
It was great seeing you both and I know that the hardship of the adverse living conditions will be difficult to deal with but I know that you'll get through somehow. Ha! Ha! I also feel that getting a picture of Roger wrapped up in the cord and trees of the lawn mower would be blog worthy.
I love you both and you will remain in my thoughts and prayers, and as always, if I can do anything you have but to ask.
P. S. Marlene it was June 26 not May 26. :-P
