July 30 '07

Hello to everyone. Hope you had a good weekend and a good Monday. We are in the final days of the C'ville part of this journey and we are so thankful that all of you have been with us and lightened our load. I have 2 more radiation tx. and 1 more chemo, then we have a 4 week break (yeah) before we return to C'ville for MRI & Dr. appts. and determine the next phase. I am truly looking forward to a break from tx and medication!! Have had a little problem with itching (palms, feet, head) ....I think it's the antibiotic they have had me take 3xw....hopefully, I can stop it this week. Everything else is going well, we are preparing to pack up and move. All the Pierson's are in Florida and spent the day at Epcot, having a great time. Sorry we are all missing Bible School. I know you guys are having a great time also!! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we complete this phase and adjust to the upcoming changes. We continue to be blessed richly each day. Remember: God is Good.......All the Time. Love, Marlene & Roger

Marlene and Roger

"God is Good". You saying this shows your stong faith and I know you always had it.

I was told about your situation sometime ago and you have been in my prayers daily. I finally talked to Gary last night and he gave me the address to this sight. It is a great idea.

I am sure it will be great getting home for a while. My prayers will continue and as you say and I know "God is good".

Roger will remember the lady (Pam Rossmiller) that spoke at the cemetary for Gayle at Thanksgiving. She quotes "God is good" lots of times.

God Bless both of you.

Hi Marlene!

We're continuing to check on you through your blog frequent and both Glenna and I are so happy for you to be getting a four week break from treatment and meds.

I remember when you and Roger use to stop by our house to visit Glenna and how graceful I thought you were and how polite Roger was and I was only 7 or 8 years old then. I will have to say you are still the graceful and beautiful lady you were then and the way you have handled this illness shows that and attests to your faith in God.
Love,
Beth
