Sun. Aug 19th
Sorry to have been away so long, but it has been a slow week. Marlene continues to have a low energy level. Her appetite is pretty good, but everthing still tastes bad. However, her spirits are high and she refuses to sit still for very long. Today she had a couple of battles with grandson Jack. We will travel to C'ville tomorrow afternoon. She has a MRI and two doctor visits Tuesday morning. Please keep us in your prayers as we go thru this part of our journey. May God bless and rem. God is good......and all the time....... Roger - Sorry I missed you at church yesterday, but I wouldn't risk giving you (and then Marlene) this crud I have for anything in the world. I really wanted to visit with Marlene before she went back, but we knew she probably had all the company she wanted especially with her low energy level. I guess this is just an uphill part of God's journey with you. I continue to pray everyday that God will give both of you the strength to keep on glorifying Him and serving as such an awesome example of the impact that God's amazing grace can have on us even in the toughest of times. You are both very special to us and even more so to God. We will be honored if there is anything we can do to help in any way...just call.
