Better Day
Well, I had planned to skip tonight'blog, but since Susan called my attention to the fact that yesterday was June & not May, I thought you deserved to know that Roger and I really aren't "loosing it." Had a really good day today. Did not realize how tired we were, until we felt much better today. Great visit from Pastor Steve, Jackie, and Bradley enroute home from Williamsburg. Praying that all of you are well. Love, Marlene & Roger

It's great to hear you've had a better day today! Glenna wanted me to tell you that she thought of you as she was traveling down to TN and especially when she got to the Exit for 64. Then today she went to the Church Hill Library to check her email and guess who she ran into? Patty! She said she kept looking at her, knowing there was something strikingly familiar about her, but had no idea who she was and Patty went out, then came back in and asked if she was Glenna when she'd seen the NY tag and Pampered Chef sticker on the car. She was so glad to get to talk to Patty. She also laughed and said to tell you that she used the opportunity to give Patty a Pampered Chef catalog.
You seem to be doing remarkably well for having to have both types of treatment! God is with you every step of the way.
Love,
Beth
Hi Mom - I agree with you on not realizing how tired we all were. Eric and I really hit the wall last night! Glad to hear you had a good day - I assume you guys found your way home last night!

Hi Roger& Mareline, Hoping you have a good day today. Too hot too work. I hope Roger is finding something to do. By the way I think the deer have started digging potatoes, or # 1 or #2 have ben there, think 7 hills left. Grass growing some. David & i are going to start coon trappg maby tonight. Every thing look pretty good. Some rain last night, good chance, for this afternoon & night Better hush WITH LOVE BOB & OPAL
Well, much to our dismay, it was not #2 in the potatoes. We forgot! Also, for those of you reading this from the tri-cities region, you will find great humor in the uproar I caused at the McDonald's drive through window when I ordered a Plain Tea! They had no idea what I wanted - definitely a Pal's moment!
Love you guys!

Marlene, It is great to hear that you are feeling so great. I am sure there are times that "great" is not the most appropriate description of your feelings. With what you are going through you are entitled to some down days. So enjoy the "great" days when they come.
Tom and I keep you in our thoughts and prays daily. God will see you through this.
With much love and prayer, Connie and Tom Baker
Glad you're having a better day. I didn't want you to completely miss June though. Just think Sunday starts July. It has rained a little the last couple of days and boy do we need it.
Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. We miss you both.
