Day three of the journey
Thanks to each of you for your prayers and for being with us on this journey. Marlene has started taking the cemo pill and so far she has had no side effects. God continues to share his miracles with us each day. The treatment today lasted only 15 minutes and we were on our way. We had a visitor from GC today. Susan Herron came by to say hello and visit awhile. We continue to be amazed at the outpouring of love , it sustains us each day. We ask you to continue to pray that there will no side effects from the treatments. Have a good day and may God bless. Love you all. Marlene & Roger

Just wanted to let you know I am praying for you!
trish has been keeping me posted on how you have been doing but this is great to be able to hear from you. I am like you, a little claustrophobic. When I had my MRI, I prayed through the entire procedure. It made all the difference in the world. We love ya and miss ya. Pam Cole, Parish nurse

Want you to know that you were in my mind as I snipped a 3 foot delphinium spike for the flower show this past Saturday morning at dawn. "For Marlene" as I cut that beautiful thing with a kind of calm ferocity I am sending your way. So many supportive Mt. Rogers thoughts for you down here. The enemy is potent BUT SO ARE WE.

I really like the 'calm ferocity' comment. I think it describes our action plan perfectly! I hope things went well for you this morning! We will be up early in the morning and make a visit to the big Farmers Market downtown!
