Friday the 13th
A lot of people consider this day unlucky. Not me! The grandbabies are here for the weekend. There's no better way to spend time than with your family. Isn't God wonderful? He blesses us with so many good things. Praise his holy name. Marlene has had a good day. Her energy level is still good. She takes a couple of short naps each day and wakes up fully rested. Does't God work in mysterious ways? She has lost a little more hair, but she looks really good in a hat. My thanks to all of you for the calls, cards, and prayers that have been sent our way. I am enjoying your blog and keeping up with you daily. I wish I could join you on your walks. The girls at Contours send their best and say they are proud that you "took your weights". I assured them that Marlene is working out daily-(-they wish I were doing as well)Tell Roger when he feels really liberal to try my Lutheran Church :) I know you will enjoy the Presbyterians-we did in Key West. Still trying to work my way up to see you with Ms. Anna. We will make it soon. Enjoy those grandkids this weekend! Thinking of you and knowing that God is in Control--thanks be to God. Carla
We just returned from Panama City Beach and boy was it hot! I have been doing all of that dreaded laundry that you have after a vacation. I have been catching up on Marlene's progress and sounds like you are doing great. On the day's that you feel a little sick, try some kraut that usually will help! My grandfather Clyde, when you took radation he drank kraut juice when he felt sick and it helped him! I was glad to hear that the Goji juice is helping as well. I am hooked on it too! I feel so much better when I take it. Keep your spirits up and remember God is in control. We love you both!
