Quiet day
After a great 4th celebration with the kids, today has seemed unusually quiet. Everyone was "recovering" and Roger and I spent a little longer than usual at the hospital for therapy. That is valuable time for we have the priviledge of meeting and talking to the folks who are having the same kinds of problems as us and Roger says we are all in one big boat. I think that is a good analogy. It gives us an opportunity to share and Roger usually causes everyone to laugh, which as you know is the very best medicine. We are making new friends. That is a good thing. Please remember not only Roger and I, but the others in the small group in the waiting room between 9-11 in your prayers. We feel those prayers. Thank you for your continued kindness and love to our family. In His Love, Roger & Marlene

Hello Marlene and Roger,
Just wanted you to know that I check your blog every day. It is wonderful to hear from you so often and to be able to pass along up to date information to your Aunt Jo. I phoned there yesterday and your Uncle Everett answered the phone, after we had exchanged "how are yous" he said, "Have you heard from Marlene today?" So, thank you for talking to us all via the internet.
I am praying for you and Roger and the medical personnel who are involved in your treatment...now I will add the 9-11 group and your new friends.
God IS good... I smile every time I read that from you and I think God smiles, too.
From all of us, We love you,
Theresa, Ed, Maria, Jo and Everett
Hey Mom and Dad,
Eric and I had a great day on the 4th - it was nice to see Patti and the kids, and inspite of other comments, I thought the Valleydale Chili was a great hit! Tasted like home!
Can't wait to see you tomorrow - let me know if you need us to bring anything.
Love you both!

Hi Marlene & Roger
So glad you are doing ok. It is very nice to be able to talk with people who are having the same problems. It does help.
I am glad we have this Blog, we check it daily. People ask us about you, so we know what's going on. We miss you both.
We pray daily for you and will now include the 9-11 group.
God Bless both of you!

Just came back from watering, feeding and checking on things. Elvis says hi, but sounded like he was singing (Oh lonesome me). I think he looks forward to seeing us every day. The flowers are beautiful and the yard is greening up, had a little rain last night. Sure hope you all get some rest this weekend and things are still going well.
PS: We think you are feeding #2
well!
With all our love to you and Roger and #2.
